WixSpace - Account Manager

While finishing up my MBA this summer, I was approached by a St. Bonaventure alum who had recently started up his own marketing agency called WixSpace. Wixspace acquires leads through the Wix Partners Program and we assist businesses and entrepreneurs who are looking to create an online presence. I interact with a wide array of clients each day and work with them to build their vision into a reality. It is such an enjoyable experience to learn from business owners across the country while designing a website that truly tells their story. SBU - Marketing Graduate Assistant

Nearing completion of undergrad, I made the decision to stay at St. Bonaventure for another year while working to earn my MBA. I was extremely grateful to obtain a partial scholarship while earning the opportunity to work as the sole Marketing GA in the SBU School of Business. Aside from managing undergraduate students as we developed digital marketing campaigns, I also taught Principles of Marketing as Prof. Ryan and I initiated the "Friday Application Experiment". We had noticed that students didn't respond to lectures well on Fridays (obviously), and we were searching for a way to improve engagement. We developed a strategy and I ended up working each week to design Friday lesson plans that would apply knowledge from Monday and Wednesday lectures to real-world scenarios. We implemented this system and Prof. Ryan continued to lecture while introducing new concepts to the students on Mondays and Wednesdays. I was then in charge of lecturing in all 3 Friday sessions while assisting the students through group activities that applied these concepts to real-world scenarios. Course evaluations showed that students enjoyed this format and Prof. Ryan will continue to use this method and lesson plans for years to come!

Waterman's Distillery - Brand Ambassador

Last summer, I was blessed to meet two of most genuine, passionate, and dedicated entrepreneurs. Joe and Michelle Alig built Waterman's Distillery a few years ago and they completely reinvented the concept of flavored whiskey. Together, they developed a formula and created a line of all natural, low carb, gluten free whiskeys that have been agelessly distilled from local corn. The bottles are branded with the bold "607" label with unique flavor offerings including jalepeno ginger and blood orange. I had the pleasure of working as part of the sales and promotion team while traveling across NY to educate consumers. Pictured on the right is our tasting table that we set up in Syracuse, NY. Joe and I would travel every Saturday morning as we prepared for a long day of tastings and sales. Entrepreneurship has always been one of my greatest passions and I can't imagine a better opportunity than being able to learn from Joe and Michelle. Visions FCU - E-Commerce Intern

During the summer of 2017 and 2018, I worked in the E-Commerce department at Visions Federal Credit Union. Tom Novak, the Director of Digital Banking, was an excellent manager and he allowed me to also collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development departments. My favorite mornings were spent on the campus of Binghamton University as our team attended summer orientation sessions. We communicated with students and parents about the benefits of becoming a member with Visions. Our E-Commerce team even developed a mobile app that allowed us to conveniently open new member accounts while we were on campus. Aside from the orientation sessions, I also took pleasure in traveling to local schools as we educated parents about the importance of financial literacy and enrolled children in the Kirby Kangaroo Club. Our team also enjoyed a weekend as the official sponsor of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open as we celebrated Visions 50th anniversary and kicked off the #ThanksVisions campaign.

While spending time in the office, I also enjoyed the duty of auditing checks that were submitted through the mobile deposit feature. Learning from my colleagues, I was quickly educated in check fraud and collaborated with our security department to prevent losses.
